Personality: Takashi at first appears serious and silent, but that's just a front. His true personality is completely different. He's a bit of a flirt, he will flirt if an opportunity shows. He's also witty, especially when he's teasing, but he can be sarcastic at times. He does however, have a serious side, it sometimes shows, especially if he's planning a strategy. In his Spirit Form however, he takes on a whole different persona. He becomes level-headed and perceptive. He can be very calm that sometimes it's scary. Even if everyone around him is panicking, he'll stay level-headed and calmly analyze the situation.
History: Takashi was the second son of a kendo master. His twin brother Takeshi had died when he was just a baby, so Takashi never knew him very well. Growing up, he was a normal teenager, going to school, getting good grades, hanging with friends, normal stuff. His father, a kendo master, taught him kendo so that Takashi would be able to defend himself. When Takashi turned 18 and entered his final year, everything would change. He was coming home from kendo, and it was starting to rain. By the time Takashi reached his house, it was starting to pour. Takashi, water dripping off him, stopped in his tracks. Normally, when he came home, his mother would always greet him, but today, she didn't. Something was wrong, Takashi had a bad feeling. All the lights in the house were off, it was like no one was home. Takashi slipped off his shoes and dropped his bag on the floor. Taking with him only his practice sword, he ran though the house, searching desperately for his parents, only to find nothing. They were nowhere in the house, and there was only one place left, his father's dojo in the back. Takashi ran across the wooden walkway that connected the dojo to the house, as rain continued to pour down. Takashi stopped at the entrance, breathing hard.
He couldn't hear anything, no voices, no sound, only the rain. He tightened his grip on his practice sword and stretched out a trembling hand. He grabbed the door knob and pushed the door open. He took a step forward, but because it was so dark, he couldn't see anything. His foot collided with a solid figure. What he saw would haunt him forever. It was his mother's body. He looked around, and a flash of lightning illuminated the dark dojo, revealing his father's body, slumped against the back dojo wall, blood flowing from his dead body. He fell to his knees beside his mother's body, tears flowing. A faint sound made him look around, and he saw his mother was alive, barely. He cried out, asking his mother who did this. She motioned slightly for him to come closer, and he bent down close to her face. The last word she murmered would forever be etched in his mind. " Hollows." Her body then relaxed, she had died. Takashi looked down, shadows covering his eyes. The Hollow in question that had killed his parents was currently coming back with other Hollows, to feast on Takashi's parent's spiritual power. They descended through the ceiling, and saw a new course, Takashi. They could sense some spiritual power in the boy, and the Hollow who killed his parents started to advance on Takashi, wanting to feed on the spiritual power emanting from the boy. Takashi didn't look up, but he knew the Hollows had returned. Fury and rage coursed through Takashi like he had never knew before, and as the Hollow prepared to attack Takashi, hidden spiritual power burst forth from Takashi, repelling the Hollow.
Although it was enough to repel one Hollow, it wasn't enough to repel the entire group, and as Takashi charged at them, he fought in vain, determined to protect his parents, but he blacked out. When Takashi awoke, the Hollows had left, and he was protected by a spiritual barrier. He also had a broken chain that was attached to his chest, his body lying beside his mother's. Shingami forces entered the dojo, and saw Takashi still inside the protective barrier, the broken chain on his chest, and realized that he had spiritual powers, and that he had died, but he was still in the real world, because he still had something he needed to do. They took him to Soul Society, and enrolled him in the academy. He quickly rose through the academy, and when they tested his sipritual powers, he was able to call and control it and he was given the rank of corporal. He now stays in Soul Society to increase his powers and become a Shinigami, so he can extract revenge on the Hollow that killed his parents.
